What we collect
When you create a Rewyyn account, we store your email address, the name you provide, your country, and the authentication and billing records needed to operate the service. We also store usage records for model requests, including the model, token counts, cost, status, and time.
The desktop app stores your session tokens on your device using the operating system’s credential storage. Your source code stays on your computer unless you explicitly send it to a model or attach it to a prompt.
Why we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To meter free and paid usage, apply limits, and bill plans.
- To route requests to the model providers you select.
- To diagnose failures and protect the service from abuse.
Model providers
Rewyyn sends model requests through its account service to the upstream provider needed for your selected model, including OpenRouter and the underlying model provider. Those providers process prompts and outputs under their own terms and retention policies. Do not send information you are not allowed to share with the provider you choose.
Payments
Subscriptions and payment methods are processed by Stripe. Rewyyn receives subscription status, plan information, and billing identifiers, but it does not store full payment card numbers.
Sponsored placements
The free weekly allowance is supported by clearly labeled sponsored placements in the app. Rewyyn serves the placement configuration and does not add third-party analytics scripts to the app. A sponsor may receive a normal web request when its image is loaded or when you choose to open its link.
Remote sessions
Phone control links are generated by your running desktop session and are intended to be time-limited and private. Treat a remote link like a password. You can stop the session or close the link at any time from the desktop app.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and usage records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing, security, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law or to resolve fraud or billing disputes.
Your choices
You can sign out, remove stored credentials, use your own provider keys, or stop using the service at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your account data or request correction of inaccurate information.
